Guitarist/Song writer Ian Dowdeswell met vocalist/song writer Dave Evans eleven years ago. Both formally played Wolverhampton base bands, broke off to concentrate on their own serious song writing and performing, playing acoustically in local venues, The Varsity, Exchange Volts, Terrace Bar and Feline & Firkin, plus to mention many other places.
Recently
have now formed a six-piece band named Coaster consisting of Vocals, Guitars,
Drum, Bass and Hammond organ. Coaster’s
style has a feel good nature, yet has enough fierce intent to capture audiences
young and old alike.
Coasters have an in-built dedication towards their music and are determined to reach the top of tomorrows music industry.
Our
future releases come in the shape of an up-tempo, catchy positive message titled
“Blue Room” and “Born Star”, a solid hook, winners song which carries an
indie pop feel. “Better Things”
speaks for it’s self and for the majority of the people and “Watch Me
Grow”, a harmonic, spine shivering, full flowing tune, adapting many styles of
music. These are just some from
Coasters music catalogue.
The
band is trying to capture as much of the outside media to promote them to their
desired status.
